French audio guru Devialet has a new premium soundbar – with a premium price-tag. The Dione brings the company’s acoustic engineering genius to home cinema via an all-in-one Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar. Its sleek design packs in a remarkable amount of tech into a 77mm high speaker. There are 17 high-end drivers including eight aluminium long-throw subwoofers for a truly immersive sound. The Dione has HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth, Airplay 2 and ARC built in and will sync with your TV to control volume from one remote. It can upscale any mono or stereo source to a 5.1.2 signal for a layered, rich upgrade. There are modes for movies, audio and music, with the super-immersive spatial mode putting you at the centre of the music. Use the app to scan your room for a personalised set-up.
