This alarming documentary about the impact of fishing on our oceans stirred up huge controversy — stars lined up to endorse its damning picture of the harm it does to ocean life, but some experts quoted have accused the film-makers of airing ‘misleading claims’. British director Ali Tabrizi wanted to make a film about how amazing the oceans were, but when he began his project he was devastated by the impact of plastic on dolphins and whales.
