Ana de Armas dazzled as a CIA agent in No Time To Die, and is a much darker presence in this neat erotic thriller based on a Patricia Highsmith novel. De Armas is Melinda (left), the younger wife of rich, brooding Vic (Ben Affleck). She has affairs and he seems to tolerate it, but there’s a deadly undercurrent between them, and twists you don’t often see in the genre. It’s the kind of movie that leaves you with lots to talk about afterwards. De Armas and Affleck were an item in real life at the time.
