It’s a culture clash story about a very American man trying to do the right thing against a baffling bureaucracy in a different country — but it also raises an interesting question as the story becomes more complex. What will the buttoned-down Bill (Damon, left) do if his daughter is guilty? That tension is nicely brought out by director Tom McCarthy, who won the Best Picture Oscar for his brilliant reallife journalism drama Spotlight. From Friday
