PICK OF THE DAY

-

Super Garden

8.30PM, RTé ONE ★★★★ The return of the contest which sees five amateur garden designers compete for the chance to showcase their horticultural talent at the prestigious Bloom Festival in Dublin’s Phoenix Park. First up before the judges Brian Burke, Monica Alvarez and Gary Graham (right) is Paul Ferry from Donegal who tackles the garden of Tom and Catherine Moore in Kells, Co Meath. The Moores want a space that will transport them to Texas — a concept which might prove a challenge, given the Lone Star State’s somewhat different climate to that of east Ireland.

World’s Most Luxurious

7PM, RTé2 ★★★ It seems the less money we all have, the more our appetite for glimpses of how the other half live grows. This new series gives us just that — in spades — and begins with a look at the ‘world’s most luxurious’ trains. But will they have free Wi-Fi?

Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad

8.30PM, VIRGIN ONE ★★★ A second series for the fatherand-son pair, and Bradley — not broken yet despite Barney’s best efforts — gets up close and personal with sharks in Florida. And you thought the Chasers were scary…

Redemption

11.15PM, VIRGIN ONE ★★★ In case you missed it on new channel Virgin More on Monday, here’s another chance to see the first episode of the crime drama in which Liverpool cop Paula Malcomson travels to Dublin where her daughter’s body has been found.
