It’ll Be Alright On The Night

9PM, UTV ★★★★ David Walliams (right) returns to narrate another instalment of clangers and minor catastrophes from the UK’s TV archives. There’s Olly Murs suffering the indignity of a chair accident on The Voice, Shane Ritchie hurting himself on a hammock, and Ricky Gervais being interrupted by a mobile phone. Meanwhile Greg Davies, who normally comes across as pretty unflappable on Taskmaster, is heckled by his own autocue — and in front of royalty, no less. And chef James Martin demonstrates how not to cook safely on a barbecue.

URC Live

7PM, RTé2 ★★★ Ulster welcome Munster to Kingspan Stadium. The Reds recorded a narrow 18-13 win when the sides met in January’s reverse fixture at Thomond Park. A similarly close contest is expected here as Ulster hope home advantage will swing it.

Young Sheldon

8.30PM, RTé ONE ★★★ Sheldon (Iain Armitage) makes few friends when he butts heads with Dr Lee, a new scientist in the lab, as the latest series of this sitcom prequel continues. Meanwhile, Mary get her hopes up when she is given a lottery ticket.

Not Going Out

9.30PM, BBC1 ★★★★ Last week’s episode was a comedy take on Rear Window; this week, the inspiration is drama 12 Angry Men. Lee has been called for jury service and he and the other 11 jurors retire to discuss the defendant’s innocence or guilt.
