Camilla set for style bible birthday cover
CAMILLA PARKERBOWLES will appear in a special edition of Vogue magazine this summer to mark her 75th birthday.
Camilla, who turns 75 on July 17, is expected to feature on the cover of the fashion bible, which also interviewed the duchess. Queen Elizabeth, is thought to approve of the Vogue project.
The Camilla feature is set to be one of British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful’s most high-profile interviews yet and follows a longestablished tradition of the royal family appearing in the magazine.
The Queen made her first appearance in its pages in 1927 as a oneyear-old on her mother’s knee. Princess Diana, Princess Anne and Kate Middleton have all been cover stars.
After careful consideration, Camilla will appear in the magazine after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend in June, so as not to overshadow he mother-inlaw’s landmark celebrations.
Both Vogue publisher Condé Nast and Clarence House declined to comment on the upcoming Camilla edition of the magazine last night.
