So long as you don’t compare it to director Steve McQueen’s not totally dissimilar Widows, this thriller is well worth a look. Set in 1970s New York, it stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss as three Mob wives who find themselves taking charge of the family business after their husbands are all sent to prison.

Drunk Wedding (2015) 18 1.50AM, CH4 ★★★

Bawdy comedy, starring Christian Cooke and Victoria Gold as a US couple who decide to get married at a resort in Nicaragua. The bride’s brother gives them and their guests minicameras to record what they get up to, but they end up capturing excessive boozing, sexual opportunism and all manner of bad behaviour.
