Unwise bid to make America bake again

British Bake off judge Prue Leith is joining Paul hollywood on the Us version of the cake competition, the Great American Baking show.

With obesity at epidemic levels in the Us and a rising problem in Europe – and of course in ireland – surely tV shows that shamelessly promote food loaded with butter, cream and sugar should be scrapped until the crisis is reversed or, at the very least, changed to focus on lowcalorie or healthier alternatives.
