The documentary following the work of the DSPCA returns, with cameras going behind the scenes at the state-of-theart facility in the Dublin Mountains. In the first episode, vet Elise and nurse Mandy work together to try to save a cat’s life. There’s another feline emergency when a kitten is found injured on a building site and vet Maria (pictured) is called on to perform an urgent operation. Dogs are also a cause for concern, particularly an underweight lurcher. Can kennel carers Shane and Tanya feed it up a bit, and give the canine a new lease of life?
