GOOGLE’S WATCH IS ON THE WAY
Google’s I/O conference this week was full of updates from the tech giant. There was Android and AI news and also glimpses of a new flagship phone, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. There was news that Google is working on a tablet powered by its own chips and impressive-looking augmented reality glasses. On show was the affordable Pixel 6a, powered by Google
Tensor. Its camera has an upgraded ultra-wide lens and it has the brilliant Magic Eraser for touchingup photos. Also announced were the Pixel Buds Pro (€219) with Active Noise Cancellation, Volume EQ, transparency mode and multipoint connectivity for easy switching of sources. Perhaps the biggest announcement was the long-awaited Google Pixel Watch, a beautiful time piece with 4G
LTE, so you can leave your phone at home. It has Google Maps and Wallet, with health features by Fitbit.
