MOW THE LAWN WITHOUT LIFTING A FINGER

-

Many of us are already getting stuck into the gardening again and robotics company Eeve might have the ideal companion to help tackle one of the repetitive tasks of the summer.

Its Willow robot with attachable mowing tool autonomously drives itself around your garden and mows your grass for you.

Willow is smarter than many of the other robo-mowers on the market however, and doesn’t need a boundary cable to be laid, to stop her escaping.

After you do an initial walk where Willow follows you, she’ll be ready to start mowing and each time she mows she gets more efficient at the route.

The larger of the two models will mow almost a full acre of grass and will even do so in neat, straight lines, and it has adjustable mowing height, from 2cm to 10cm.

A new version of Willow is in the works, equipped with arms to carry out all sorts of tasks, perhaps even sweeping up leaves or cleaning a patio.

The current version costs €2,990 can be controlled by your smartphone and can mow up to 1,500m².
