GRIPPING THRILLER SET IN SPACE

In this compelling, beautifully filmed and only occasionally confusing series, man has now colonised the solar system and travel is done by space. Over the six series of this sci-fi show, which is based on the books by James SA Corey, we see police detective Josephus Miller at the centre of a conspiracy at the heart of a cold war between the UN-run Earth and a militarised colony on Mars. Each series maintains the show’s quality and it’s not surprising that there are calls for more after the sixth series ended. The first can be watched on its own and plays much like a detective story — you might find it hard to resist the pull of the wider world it so deftly creates thought.
