49 ASHFIELD, MULLINGAR

FOUR-BED semi-detached house bought from CAB in 2006. Previously belonged to Dublin drug lord Sean Dunne. Rental income from the property was declared by Mr Troy. However, the June 2018 sale of the asset to Westmeath County Council for €230,000 was not declared.

DUBLIN ROAD, MULLINGAR.

IN 2019/20 Mr Troy and developer Colin Dolan, a nephew of singer Joe Dolan, agreed a €1m social housing deal with Westmeath County Council involving a property they bought jointly for €167,000. Mr Troy sold out of the deal when he became a minister of state. As revealed by the MoS, the council tried to keep the project’s finances secret. Due to come on stream by the end of 2020, the units are not yet ready.

OAKCREST, MULLINGAR.

IN 2019 Mr Troy declared a 33% stake in ‘Oakcrest, Mullingar’. This is understood to be related to a council-funded seven-unit social housing scheme at the Oakcrest estate. Mr Troy sold out of the deal in 2020. Due to come on stream in 2021, the units are still not ready.
