BIKE LIGHT WITH STREET SMARTS

- See seesense.cc for details.

As the evenings close in and many of us are back on our bikes for work or school, it’s important to light up this autumn. Cycling technology company See.Sense is

launching its next generation smart-cycling light, the ICON3, following another hugely successful crowdfunding campaign. Two quality focused LED lamps produce a powerfully bright 575 lumens in the front and 350 lumens in the rear. The ICON3 weighs under 50g and has a 16-hour run time in its most powerful mode and it now has USB-C charging. This new light is also smarter than before with a Get Me Home Mode that automatically dims to a low-power setting when the battery drops below 20%. It also features headlight reactivity with builtin light sensors enabling it to flash brighter and faster in response to approaching car headlights, making users more visible on the road. Its brake mode adjusts the light when you’re stopped and the accompanying smartphone app can enable theft detection. The app can even call for help using the light’s accident-detection mode.
