GAA approve Springboks tie

A MEETING of the GAA’s Árd Chomhairle confirmed yesterday that Páirc Uí Chaoimh will be made available for a glamour fixture between Munster and the Springboks in November.

The match will take place on Thursday, November 10, and comes five days after the world champions open their European tour against Ireland at Aviva Stadium.

It will be the first meeting between the province and the South Africans in the professional era. They last met in 1970.
