Beating the squeeze at ‘all you can eat’ buffet

-

COST-CONSCIOUS diners are flocking to all-you-caneat buffets in response to rising restaurant prices and smaller portion sizes.

The owner of Wing’s World Cuisine in Dublin’s Wolfe Tone Street says business is booming because of their gut-busting special offers.

The cut-price restaurant challenges customers to eat as much as they can for just €12 on weekdays and €20 on weekends.

And parents can also feed their hungry little ones for less than €7.

Other offers include a buy one draught beer, get another pint for half price, a three-fortwo deal on cocktails and weekday student discounts.

Owner James Wing told the Irish Mail on Sunday: ‘We have been very busy recently. We also try to help out people who are struggling, particularly around Christmas time when we give free meals out to those who need it.’

The buffet includes a sushi area, a seafood bar, a carvery, a Teppanyaki station, pizza oven and a dessert station with a chocolate fountain, while guests can also watch chefs prepare dishes at live cooking stations.
