High-flying Carol’s new answer to Rush hour
CAROL ANTHONY, the fiancée of Liverpool legend Ian Rush, was flying high this week when she personally piloted a twin-engine plane from Dublin to her home in Cork. Carol – who has been dating Rush since 2013 – is thoroughly embracing the jetset lifestyle synonymous with soccer stars and their significant others.
The pair were on a fleeting jaunt to Ireland this week and Carol took to social media to showcase her prowess as a pilot, pictured right – as she flew to Cork in the style to which she has become accustomed.
While in Dublin, the couple booked into the five-star Merrion Hotel. Their preference for highend couture was also evident as Carol sported a pale, oversized Saint Laurent boyfriend blazer and wide-brimmed hat for a spot of sightseeing along St Stephen’s Green. Ian strapped in for his carriage ride wearing a stylish Hermes belt. The couple have also
joined forces as sports agents and their work involves them traversing the globe in superyachts as they eye up new football talent in far-flung, sunnier climes.
Ian popped the question to Carol with a suitably stunning sparkler in 2019. However, as happened to many others, the pandemic put their nuptials on ice but sources say a ‘bling-bling wedding’ is on the cards soon.
