GUTSY STAR-STUDDED DOCUMENTARY

Chelsea and Hillary Clinton (above) make a good team for this eight-part documentary, based on the mother-and-daughter’s bestseller, The Book Of Gutsy Women. The premise is simple: they chat to inspiring women in various fields — comedy, art, activism and more. The tone is cheerily casual but the talks insightful, with

Goldie Hawn, Kim Kardashian, Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem and Kate Hudson among the interviewees. From Friday, Apple TV+

BAD SISTERS

COMIC

WHODUNNIT

So, which of the sisters killed the horrid

John Paul? We’re up to part five of Sharon Horgan’s darkly comic drama this Friday, and the guessing is just as fun as all the neat details we learn about them, week by week. One thing is for sure — if anyone deserves to be murdered, it’s JP. Weekly on Fridays, Apple TV+

THOR: LOVE

AND THUNDER SUPERHERO SEQUEL

Everything gets cranked up to 11 in this wildly humorous adventure for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor (above) – even the cameos. It’s completely over the top, but very funny in places. From Thursday

MIKE

HARD-HITTING BIOPIC

The eventful life story of heavyweight world champion

Mike Tyson is told in this eight-part drama, with Moonlight’s Trevante Rhodes (right) as the boxer. It’s all very well done, but it’s hard not to shake the queasy feeling while watching that the treatment is a little too sympathetic.

CARS ON THE ROAD ANIMATED FAMILY FUN

In this merry animated spin-off series from Pixar’s Cars,

Mater, the battered old pick-up truck, travels cross-country to meet up with his long-lost sister, and his best buddy Lightning McQueen decides to go with him. The resulting series is a treat for grown-ups and children alike, with the latter loving the slapstick comedy and the former revelling in the petrol-head in-jokes, not to mention the film references.
