Jamie’s in big bother... Kim knows he’s alive!

Kim finally discovers what the rest of us have known for months — Jamie is alive! Whether we’ll ever learn quite how he managed to survive the car crash that ended with his car under water is another matter.

When Kim hears Hazel’s been in an accident, she visits Millie’s other granny in hospital, where Hazel (above with Millie) reveals she was pushed down the stairs by Jamie. Kim immediately reports him to the police for attempted murder, and then takes Millie in to keep her safe, but we all know it’s only a matter of time before Jamie shows up to cause havoc.

When Jamie first returned to the village three years ago he was a mild-mannered vet for whom de-worming livestock was about as exciting as it got. Now he’s a philandering crook who faked his own death and tried to bump off his mother-in-law. That’s quite a transformation, even by Emmerdale standards.

Having been single for too long (and having worked her way through most of the village’s eligible men), Bernice has a date with Rishi. But she’s too full-on so he cancels their second date, leaving the fiery redhead furious.
