Le Labo is such an interesting fragrance brand. There’s a longrunning joke in beauty that New York smells like Santal 33, the brand’s smoky and leathery scent worn by as many women as men. Outside its regular eau de parfums are the City Exclusives, each dedicated to a single city like Paris or Miami, and they are sold only in those cities — except for one month a year, when you can buy each worldwide. This Discovery Set has five of those city scents inside (5 x 1.5ml) until the end of the month.

Described as a soft, powdered and romantic fine fragrance, it has notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, iris, violet, bluebell, vanilla and praline.

The scent is a bestseller and it’s the type of fragrance that gets lots of compliments, even from total strangers. Now, Kilian Hennessy has added a hair mist to the collection. It includes the marshmallow, neroli and orange blossom notes of the fragrance but also with UV filters to protect the hair. Just a spritz or two around the head suffices for an all-over fragrant day.
