YSL’s Couture Clutch eye shadow palette is an annual event in beauty, not just for how beautifully curated the shades are, but for the size of the palette, which is two or three times the size of most. This year’s palette is inspired by the Moroccan desert, where Yves Saint Laurent had a second home. There are 10 eye shadows inside in a mix of matte, satin, and glitter finishes. The shades in browns and pinks are heavily pigmented and will work on every skin tone to create numerous eye looks. YSL has used a technique with the shades that means they are different tints of a single colour so they can be layered for a number of effects on the eyes. This means you can lay a glitter finish over a satin or matte in a close shade for a more standout look.
