-

This week, Apple’s new iPhone range – including the iPhone 14 Pro which debuted the first 48MP camera on an iPhone and Emergency SOS via satellite – went on sale.

The iPhone 14 has a

6.1” screen while the iPhone 14 Plus has a larger 6.7” display. Both have a durable and sleek aerospace-grade aluminium design in five colours with a tough ceramic shield front cover. Stepping up a tier, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chip. Both come in four colours with storage ranging from 128GB to a huge 1TB.

They have an ‘always-on’ display and an innovative new way to receive notifications making the lock-screen more useful than ever with time, widgets, and live activities available at a glance.

The entire iPhone 14 line-up introduces ground-breaking safety capabilities that can provide emergency assistance when needed, including crash detection and SOS via satellite.

■ iPhone 14 starts at €1,029 and iPhone 14

Pro at €1,339. Details on memory and colour options can be found at Apple.com/ie
