30 years of Yon-Ka in Ireland, Yon-Ka Lotion Special Edition

€33, online and spas

It’s likely that most people’s firstever facials in Ireland involved leading French spa and aromatherapy brand, Yon-Ka. Founded in 1954, the brand first arrived here in 1991 and it’s the hero brand for the family-owned Renaissance Skincare distribution company based in Howth village. Brought to Ireland by husband and wife team, Tom and Rosemary Evans, their three children Michael, Richard and Melissa manage the brand now. To celebrate this landmark date, artist Sue Miano has decorated the cult Lotion bottle with wildflowers for the anniversary. Lotion is the brand’s hero buy, a phyto-aromatic skin care mist with five essential oils of lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress and thyme that works to rehydrate and refresh all skin types. With 99.6% natural ingredients, the alcohol-free spritz tones, balances and softens the skin.
