ALI BIOPIC OF A BOXING LEGEND
Will Smith gained 35lb of muscle mass to play heavyweight champion boxer Muhammad Ali in this biopic and was nominated for an Oscar. The film focuses on the period from 1964 to 1974 and is no fawning tribute but a serious piece of work that gets under the skin of the man and really packs a punch. Thursday, 9pm, BBC4
