Neven’s Portuguese Food Trails

Chef Neven Maguire concludes his journey around Portugal by visiting the famous Douro Valley. His first stop is the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo, a leading culinary and hospitality college located in the historic town of Lamego. The students show just how the college earned its reputation when they treat Neven to a banquet of traditional dishes. He also meets André Carvalho (pictured), head chef of the hotel’s restaurant Terraçu’s, who shares a recipe with ingredients from the area.
