Spirits are high as stars step out for film debut

-

THE Banshees Of Inisherin might feature a bitter feud between friends, but there was no sign of bad feeling at the Light House cinema in Dublin for the premiere of the Oscar-tipped flick on Friday night.

U2 frontman Bono, 62, fresh from a trip to his former Clontarf comprehensive, reunited with close friend and artist Guggi, 63, at the starstudded evening.

The musician and his wife, Ali Hewson, 61, posed for photos with the film’s cast, including Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

Widow of radio presenter Gerry Ryan, Morah Brennan, also made the short journey from her new Clontarf pad for the night with daughter Babs.

Faye Shortt, 24, who is on tour with father and fellow comedian Pat Shortt, showed off her fashion credentials in a white double-breasted jacket paired with cycling shorts.

‘Proud son and daughter at The Banshees Of Inisherin premiere,’ the influencer wrote online, ‘what an amazing film.’

The movie is in cinemas nationwide from

next Friday.
