Leni reeks of a special kind of desperation.

Although both mother and daughter, right, have great bodies, their prancing around and nuzzling one another in their underwear is creepy and charmless rather than erotic or aspirational.

It also hints at the flipside of life for so called nepotism babies, like Leni. Having doors opened and strings pulled by mummy is useful but there can be a price to be paid in loss of autonomy, boundaries and personal identity.
