Garda investigate after young woman’s body found in house

GARDAÍ are investigating after a young woman was found dead in a house on Friday evening.

The deceased, who was in her 30s, was discovered in a house in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, at around 6pm.

Both gardaí and emergency services attended the scene having received reports of the woman’ death.

The scene was sealed off and the body was later taken to Letterkenny University Hospital. A Garda spokesman said the results of a post mortem ‘will determine the course of the investigation’.

Neither the woman’s identity nor nationality had been released as of last night.
