RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards 2022

10.25PM, RTé ONE ★★★★ John Creedon is our host as the ceremony takes place at Dublin’s Vicar Street. The awards celebrate the best in folk music, from established names to emerging artists, who get their own category. There will also be gongs for the Best Album, Instrumentalist, Group, Traditional Track, Original Track and Singer, but one person who knows they’ll be going home with a prize is Mary Black, who is the recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She’ll be showing why as she takes to the stage to perform.
