TOKYO VICE

Based on the memoir by American reporter Jake Adelstein, this brooding new crime thriller is set in the dark underbelly of organised crime in Japan. The story begins with Adelstein (Ansel Elgort) being threatened by the feared Yakuza before spinning back to explain how he got into that situation, via his uneasy friendship with a veteran detective (Ken Watanabe, above with Elgort).
