Corrie crime shouldn’t pay

Soaps are notorious for letting their baddies out of jail early on some improbable technicality.

But Strictly star Will Mellor, who’s back as convicted drug lord Harvey Gaskell, hopes he’s an exception. ‘I love playing this character, but I don’t want Harvey to suddenly get out of prison and be running the Rovers. I want a message to go out that there are people like this, grooming kids, who don’t care about them or their families.’
