Will Linda save Janine’s baby?

-

Lola starts her radiotherapy and continues to keep the truth about her condition from daughter Lexi, even though Jay, Billy and Ben all do their best to make her see it’s the wrong decision. Sure enough, when a letter arrives from the hospital outlining Lola’s treatment plan, Lexi takes it to read and, distressed at what she finds, fails to turn up for school. She’s tracked down to the park and, once home, Lola finally tells her daughter the truth about her tumour.

Let’s hope a miracle cure comes along sharpish because if Lola does not survive, it will leave Lexi in the care of murdering dad Ben, gangster grandad Phil and dimwit great-grandpa Billy. Nobody deserves that.

Suki and Nish return from their break — I bet that was a laugh a minute — and Eve hopes that she and Suki can be friends. She decides the best way to do this is to worm her way in with Nish and approaches him with a business opportunity. A share in Stacey’s Baps perhaps? The food van with the cheapest prices in the UK: £1.40 for a sandwich, 50p for a coffee — how can they make a profit? Especially since they serve about three customers a week.
