Roger’s girl rocks desert for cancer

THE glamorous doctor daughter of Queen drummer Roger Taylor has just completed a five-day, 95kmtrek across the Sahara in aid of breast cancer charity Coppafeel... and the hardest part wasn’t quite what you might expect.

GP Rory, 36, above, said: ‘The most challenging part was trying to find the time to wear in my hiking boots in between work and life as a busy new mum, so I resorted to wearing them around the house and on nursery dropoffs.’ Safely back at home after contending with sandstorms, Rory says she was delighted to return to ‘a comfy bed and a bathroom’!

Meanwhile, her dad gave a generous £1,000 donation to the charity.
