Fanning At Whelan’s

Located on Dublin’s Wexford Street, Whelan’s is one of Ireland’s most iconic music venues. It’s played host to everyone from Jeff Buckley to the then-up-and-coming Arctic Monkeys. You don’t even have to be on stage to launch your career there — a 13year-old Ed Sheeran was in the audience for a Damien Rice gig in 2004 when he realised that he wanted to be a musician. Now Whelan’s is throwing its doors open to an eclectic mix of Irish greats, who will be dropping in to perform and have a chat with host Dave Fanning (right).
