Track of the week: Wrong Club by The Ting Tings Well well well, look who’s back. It’s The Ting Tings! And they’ve found their groove again, after their last record – the off-kilter and confusing Sounds from Nowhereseville. Wrong Club is a 1970s throwback jam, where a Nile Rodgers-esque bassline meets a wistful dancefloor vocal. Lyrically, it’s about feeling misplaced, but also about dancing to a rubbish song, which we can all relate to.

5 Seconds of Summer have praised their fans, taking to Twitter and typing, presumably en masse, from their official account that “this has been one of the biggest weeks of our lives. Thank you to anyone who has the album. I really do hope you love it. You guys mean so much to us. We’d still be practicing [sic] in Ashton’s garage if it wasn’t for you.”

Cheryl Cole has been musing on motherhood to the Sunday Times. She explained that she might “possibly” have kids. “Possibly. Only ‘possibly.’ Because I went through a real phase, just recently, of ‘like: maybe it’s not for me’. Because you just assume it’s a natural part of your life. I’ve got one friend who doesn’t want them; out of all my friends, only one. But I know she doesn’t want them and I know she’ll never have them. She’s not maternal. And so I started questioning.” She went on: “If it happens – don’t get us wrong – it happens. But who knows? We’ll see.” In “Stars, they’re just like us” news,

Demi Lovato gets her hair inspo from Pinterest. She told E!: “I was kind of bored of the colours that I’ve had and I wanted something that wasn’t as, like, out there as hot pink. So I changed it. I love lavender and I thought silver could be really cool, too. I love going on Pinterest and looking at different hair colours. Whenever I see like a cool colour, I sit with it for a little bit, and if it’s really, really good, then I’ll get it.”
