Yet more treats for Picnic punters

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - NEWS - By Lauren Murphy

Electric Picnic may be officially sold out, but additions to the line-up for various stages away from the main arena keep being announced, which is nice for those lucky punters who have managed to bag a ticket.

On the Red Bull Music Academy stage, dance aficionados can enjoy the likes of Joy Orbison, Boddika, Sunil Sharpe, Dark Sky, Dorian Concept, Colm K and more across the weekend. Meanwhile, the ever-popular Body and Soul arena will host the likes of tune-yards, Girl Band, Young Fathers and more at its main stage on Friday; Meltybrains?, Donal Dineen, Kate Boy and Linkoban on Saturday; and Perfume Genius, François and the Atlas Mountains and Glass Animals on Sunday, with further acts spread across Body & Soul’s various other stages.

The comedy stage line-up has also been revealed. Simon Amstell, David O’Doherty, Rubberbandits, Eleanor Tiernan, Seann Walsh, David McSavage, Jason Byrne, Aisling Bea, Abandoman, Bec Hill and Foil, Arms and Hog are just some of the funny people set to entertain the masses on Saturday and Sunday. electricpic
