Palin’s muttonhead movie patter

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - NEWS -

Throughout its long history, Reel News has dedicated itself to impartiality and open-mindedness. We are merely the conduit through which news passes. But, god help us, Sarah Palin really is a tool, is she not?

the movie limits every aspect of life – where to live, what to wear, what to eat, who to marry – to make a society that doesn’t have pain or risk, supposedly, to create some kind of utopia. Sound familiar?”

As if the implication were not poundingly clear she goes on to explain Mr Obama’s current government was “all too eager to take away our freedom”.

The last time I met Mr Noyce, he came across as the most impeccably left- wing of Australians. Ms Streep is a stalwart of the Democratic Party.

However were they cajoled into this slice of right-wing propaganda? Oh, for heaven’s sake.
