DAVID KEENAN – ‘EVIDENCE OF LIVING’

The Irish Times - Friday - The Ticket - - THE TAKE -

Dundalk singer-songwriter David Keenan has blossomed into a storytelling troubadour who harks back to such Irish literary greats as Beckett, Behan and Yeats. Evidence Of Living is proof of Keenan’s influences, a seven minute piano- driven song in which the voice and lyrics are centre stage, singing of a man with “a face like an aul painter’s radio,” and “kids who dreams died in fifth class.” NIALL BYRNE
