Delicious dark comes to Waterford

The Irish Times Magazine - - WE LOVE... -

Deliciously Dark is this year’s theme for the Waterford’s Imagine Arts Festival, which is a nice way to turn these dark evenings into something more appealing. Taking place in Waterford city between October 18th and 28th, the programme includes events for all ages, with tickets ranging in price from free to ¤ 31. Two highlights include Spraoi’s Wicked Woods ( October 26th- 29th, ¤ 5/¤ 20 family ticket), which will see some lively characters transform Waterford’s Greenway into an immersive Halloween experience, and Christchurch Cathedral will host Stomptown Brass’s performance of Requiem for the Truth ( October 25th and 26th, ¤ 16/ 18), a show that sees the brass band and guests send off the truth in Voodoo- inspired, New Orleans style.
