My goddaughter is the kind of kid who tells you she’s not a fan of pink because “I’m not a princess. I’m a warrior”. We nattered about this kind of thing in the Pepperpot Cafe recently over a brownie and a wedge of apple tart so satisfying I went back two days later with one of my favourite warrior women and tried to order it again. Others got there first and they were sold out. The Pepperpot has colonised tables around the corner and on the platform overlooking the main space now so we were able to sit beside Dublin’s nicest Christmas lights and enjoy the city’s best baking.
