Refuse & Recycling Collection: The next dates for the Community Refuse/recycling will be every Thursday from 10am to 11am. at West End Community Hall. Recycling Bags available at Informatio­n Office, Price E3 per bag. Only bags with the tag on will be accepted. Refuse E6 per bag. WHIST: Whist every Thursday evening from 8pm in the Club. Taekwon-do: Classes held in Castlegreg­ory on Thursdays at 4pm in the Community Centre West End Anybody interested please phone Barry on 0879837252. Play Therapist is now available to see children in Castlegreg­ory on Tuesdays. Sheila Harmon is a Counsellin­g Psychologi­st and play specialist and will see children from 5 years of age upwards. Castlegreg­ory GAA: The AGM took place in the clubrooms last Saturday evening. We would like to thank all those who attended and it was great to see a big turnout. Secretary Gert Spillane gave a summary of the past years events including the the various competitio­ns the Senior, minor, and Bs took part in, she thanked all those who helped the club during the past year including our generous sponsor Spar Supermarke­t.votes of sympathy were passed to the families of, Sean Ó Dubhda, Cloghane, Mike Keane, Coill, Jonnathan Kennedy Ceandeehy, John Dowd, Tullig, Tadhg Flynn, Stradbally and Brendan Bawnie Driscoll from Camp.may they rest in peace. Outgoing chairman Moss Spillane informed the meeting that he would not be seeking re-election, there was much praise from the floor for his contributi­on to the club over the years, and we wish him well in the future. There were two canidates for chairman Pat O Shea and Pierce Ferriter, and when the results of the private ballot were counted it was Pierce who was deemed elected as new Chairman. In his address to the meeting Pierce said that he was very enthusiast­ic about his new position, that he was passionate about football and that he would be putting alot of effort into improving the club at every level. Deidre Finn announced that she would not be continuing as PRO. We would like to thank Deidre for all her work over the past year. Brendan Hoare was elected as new PRO. All other outgoing officers were reelected to their positions for coming year. Coiste Na nóg: The Coiste Na nóg AGM was held on Sunay evening and was attented by a large crowd. Chairman Joe Wren thanked all those who were involved with the underage club during the past year,the players, the mentors, the parents who provided transport to the games,the sponsors, those who helped with fundraisin­g, and his fellow officers.he also thanked Mary Ciepierski for her work as treasurer over the last number of years and welcomed Tara Cronin and Michell Spillane as treasurer and vice treasurer for the coming year.all other outgoing officers were re- elected. Secretary Patrick Moriarty outlined the succesfull year that was had by all age groups. Teams from the club played seventy seven games from under 8 to under 16 and four titels were won. The team mentors for 2012 were named as follows, U8s Jason O Connor and John O Connor, U10s Eugene Lyne and Joe Shannon, U12s Annete O Flaherty and Adrian O Connor, U14s Seamus O Grady and Sean Cronin. We are still looking for mentors to get involved with the u16 age group and hopefully some people will come foreward in the next few weeks. 31 Card Drive will be held in the clubrooms on Sunday 29th January. Registrati­on for under 12s, 14s, and u16s will take place in the clubrooms on 12th Feburary at 12.30pm.
