LOTTO DRAW: Numbers drawn in last week's soccer draw were 7, 12, 18 & 25, no winner of jackpot. Lucky dips to John Cronin, Paddy Sheehan, Frank Mccarthy and Michael Lenihan. Promoter's prize to Jeremiah Naughton. This week's jackpot will be E7700. CARD GAME: The winners of first prize at last week's card game were Florence O'connell, John O'connell and Danny O'connell. Runners up were the teams of Nora Lyons, Anita Danaher and Ann Cahill and John Lane, Dan Brosnan and Toddy O'connor. Winners of the table prize were Marian Quirke, Kathleen Lenihan and Dixie Quirke. Mary Mccarthy won the door prize. Raffle prizes went to Nora Lyons, Ann Cahill, Eamon Sheehan and Con Lane, twice. Cards continue this Thursday at 9 p.m. and all welcome. FISHING CLUB: Mountcolli­ns/brosna Anglers would like to take this opportunit­y to thank most sincerely all those who supported the spawning of salmon draw and all who came in large numbers for the event in Danaher's Bar last Friday night. The club would also like to thank all the sponsors whose support over the years makes the draw so successful. This in turn makes it possible for the fishing club to support other fundraiser­s in the locality. Once again a sincere thank you to everyone and we take this opportunit­y to wish you and your family all the best for the New Year. SET DANCING: Classes continue every Tuesday night in Halla Tadhg Gaelach, Tournafull­a at 8.30 p.m. A variety of sets are taught and beginners, improvers and experience­d dancers are welcome. GAA CLUB: The club is in search of a team trainer for the senior team to replace Humphrey Doody who has stepped down after four years with the club. During his term with Mountcolli­ns we enjoyed huge success, winning the divisional and county junior football championsh­ips in 2009 and the county intermedia­te football championsh­ip in 2011 and promotion to senior status for 2012. Humphrey was highly regarded by all the players and club members. He took a very profession­al approach to training, fitness and player welfare. All in Mountcolli­ns thank him for his time and efforts and wish him the best for the future. GAA SOCIAL: The 45th annual Mountcolli­ns/tournafull­a GAA club social was held in the Devon Inn Saturday night. After the meal there were speeches from club representa­tives and invited guests. Presentati­ons were made to the successful teams in 2011 including minor, U21 and junior hurlers and minor and intermedia­te footballer­s. A great night concluded with dancing to Michael Collins Band. Well done to the social committee. ALL STAR AWARDS: Congratula­tions to Shane Gleeson and Stephen Cahill who have been nominated for All Star football awards. Shane received his award for intermedia­te football while Stephen is honoured for minor football. They will receive their awards at the West Board banquet. LOTTO DRAW: There was no winner of the jackpot last week in Danahers Bar. Numbers drawn were 9, 11, 12 and 14. Lucky dips to Daniel O'connell, Abbeyfeale; Joan Keating; Joe Collins; Tom Mulcahy, all from Tournafull­a. Willie O'connor was the winner of the pub draw and Mike Sheehy won the promoter's prize. This week's draw will be in The Goal Post Bar, Tournafull­a for a jackpot of E1300.
