SENIOR COUNTY CHAMPIONSH­IP- We wish manager Paddy O Connor and all those involved with West Kerry the best in their replay with Milltown/Castlemain­e which takes place on Wednesday 4th June at 7-45pm in Austin stacks park in Tralee. County Junior Football League - Castlegreg­ory 0-13, Anascaul 3-11. Castle put in a good performanc­e in their first game of the Junior League . They competed very well in the first half but Anascaul were more accurate with their goal chances and that proved to be the difference at the end. The team is under the management of the Crean brothers Clement and Peter and we wish them the best for the season. Senior County league - Castle are at home to Cordal on June 15th , details to be confirmed. LOTTO - Draw took place in Green Room Bar on Tuesday 27th May. Jackpot 2000 €o. Numbers drawn 5 15 21 25. Coiste Na nÓg Goalkeeper Training - Last Tuesday night Castlegreg­ory Coiste Na nÓg held a goalies only training session . Goalies from Under 8s, 10s,12s,14s,16s showed up and the minors were also invited along. Castles current goalkeeper Shane Kenny held the hour long session . Involvemen­t like this helps the developmen­t of the club and individual players and each of the goalies learned some valuable tips and they , in turn, can now pass on the new drills to their mentors . So a big thanks to Shane , and we will hope to do it again soon. UNDER 10 BLITZ Wed next 4th June in Dingle @ 6.30 . U12s West Kerry League- Well done to Castle u 12s who defeated Anascaul on a score line of 5-16 to 5 -08. This was their final game of the west Kerry competitio­n and they finished second overall only defeated by a strong An Ghaeltacht team . with such a big panel of talented players the signs for the future of the club are very positive and well done to Joe Shannon, Eugene Lyne and Patrick O Donnell for the great work they continue to do with this group.
