LISTOWEL EMMETS LADIES - It is a busy time for the under 8/10 girls at present with the latter stages of the John B Keane League in full swing. Meanwhile the Saturday Morning Club is on every Saturday morning in Frank Sheehy park from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm. We have had a lot of new faces this year and this is a fantastic opportunity for girls to be part of a team and get regular exercise with their friends. All girls under 8/10 are invited to come along and new players are always welcome. U10 NORTH KERRY BLITZ is on 15th June 11.00 am in Abbeydorney Ladies Gaelic Football Club. Well done to our under 12's who travelled despite the atrocious weather to Killarney for their game with Listry. The match was played under a heavy downpour of rain and everyone was soaked through. Listowel were unable to overcome a strong home side and it was the Listry Ladies who took the win. The next match in the County League will be against Na Gaeil. The highly popular Munster Club 7's will take place in Mallow on June 7th. Its a great day of football & good test ahead of the Championship. kOthers continues at 8.00pm on Thursdays in St Michael's College. This is a fitness program using the skills of ladies football and no prior experience is necessary to take part. We would encourage anyone to join the girls and get out of the house, bring a friend and set your own pace. We would like to wish all Emmets girls doing both the Junior and Leaving Cert the very best in the coming weeks.
