Locals may have noticed several gleaming vehicles around the village on Sunday morning. This was courtesy of our U14 panel who held a car wash at the club on Saturday to raise funds for the Feile na nGael trip to Belfast this summer.
The club hosted a fun day for the local community on Sunday. The event was an enormous success despite a brief period when rain threatened. Our under 6 players hosted Tralee Parnells in a thrilling hurling game.
Our U11s hosted Ballyduff in the North Kerry championship on Friday evening in glorious sunshine. Both sides swapped scores in a brilliantly contested match and the lead changed several times. It was the visitors Ballyduff who won in the end by a single point but both sides are to be congratulated for a great display of sporting hurling. Our U14 team were defeated by Crotta O'Neils by a margin of 2 points in the County League U14 semi-final.
