BALLYLONGFORD
NO NOTES: Apologies to readers and contributors for the non-appearance of Notes over the past two weeks. This matter was beyond our control as we witnessed internet provider damage which lasted over two weekends, thankfully this is now resolved and we can once again get back to bringing you as much news and information as possible from the Community.
BALLYLONGFROD/TARBERT C.C.E.
A great night's entertainment, was enjoyed, by a large crowd at Ballylongford Parish Hall on Friday night16th May as the local branch's end of year concert took place. A great arrangement of music and song were included in the program for the night and the crowd were treated to a wonderful variety from performances in accordion, concertina, banjo, fiddle, flute and tin whistle to our newer classes in guitar and bodhran. We also heard from our U.12 and U.15 Grúpaí and Bannaí Cheoil who are busy preparing for this year's Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí. The array of talent amongst our young musicians was outstanding and the night was hugely enjoyed by one and all.

WELL DONE
Indeed in just a short couple of Months our Village and the surrounding areas have been turned into immaculate condition once again considering the damage that was done through flooding, storms and indeed the atrocious winter weather conditions that prevailed during that time. A big depth of gratitude is extended to so many people, namely the residents of the community but more especially those many volunteers in the local Tidy Towns Committee and also those involved in the working community scheme.
