MONSTER BAR-B-Q

A huge shout out to all those who contributed to the success of the Holiday BarB-Q held last Saturday in the School to raise matching funds for a €10,000 grant from the Department of Arts for the replacement of the windows in the School's Fleischmann Wing. Barbequers John O' Mahoney, Joe Buckley and Sean Fitzmaurice played a blinder and must have sweated off thousands of calories in the heat ofthe afternoon's Mediterranean weather. A special thank you to teacher Eric Heaslip for providing his sound system and to Grainne O' Carroll fo her track selection. Aisling O' Carroll also organised children's games. Thank you to Kim who raided the local businesses in Tralee for the largest number of spot prizes I've ever seen at any one event.

The salads and desserts all donated by friends and families were simply epic. Finally a big thank you to Myra and Eileen who put the whole thing together.
