DINGLE Bay Rovers continue to set the pace at the top of Premier A and they extended their 100% record to eight games at Mounthawk Park on Saturday night with a comfortabl­e win over Listowel Celtic who will be in a fight to escape relegation this season.

Sean Fitzgerald (2) and Joe Sheehy scored for the West Kerry side. If Dingle can keep this great run of wins going, they could make it to the final by the end of the season.

St Brendans Park 2 Mastergeeh­a 2

THE Park lost ground on league leaders Dingle Bay Rovers after being held to a draw by Mastergeeh­a at Christy Leahy Park.

They looked in trouble at half time 2-0 down with Mastergeeh­a’s goals coming from Padraig Doyle and Scott O’Mahony. However they staged a good second half comeback and goals from David Courtney and David McLoughlin gave them a share of the spoils. Niall O’Riordan was the man of the match for Mastergeeh­a.

DENNY PREMIER B Killarney Celtic B 1 Classic FC 3

CLASSIC FC continue to set the pace in this division and they collected three more league points on Sunday, but not before they were tested to the limit by a spirited Killarney Celtic side. Eoin Colgan, Joseph Duggan and Timmy Lynch scored for the winners and Stephen McCarthy scored for Killarney Celtic.

Skeliga FC 1 Rattoo Rovers 4

RATTOO Rovers are beginning to hit peak form and had a very comfortabl­e win over Skeliga in this game. Mikey Boyle was the star of he show for the Ballyduff side bagging a hat trick with John McCarthy scoring the other goal. Niall Fitzgerald scored for Skeliga.

Ballymac Galaxy 1 Asdee Rovers 0

AFTER a slow start to the season Ballymac Galaxy are gradually finding their feet and they churned out another good win on Sunday against Asdee who are beginning to fall away after a good start to their league campaign. A single goal was good enough to win the game and it was scored by Cian O’Brien.

Killorglin 2 Castleisla­nd B 4

THIS was a big game for both sides who are challengin­g for a place in the league final and it was Castleisla­nd that took the three points with goals from Jonathan Downey (2), Neil O’Sullivan and Danny Feehan.

DENNY DIVISION 2B

TRALEE Bay are beginning to fire on all cylinders after a sluggish start to the season are now beginning to churn out some very good results.

They threw a spanner on Mitchel’s Avenue chances of reaching the final with a great win in the Tralee local derby. No scorers to hand for the winners but Mark O’Sullivan scored for Mitchel’s Avenue.

Strand Road 2 CS Abbeydorne­y 0

STRAND Road narrowed the gap on Windmill United at the top of the table after a good win over CS Abbeydorne­y. Their star striker Anthony O Connor scored both of the Tralee side’s goals. Tralee Bay FC 2 Mitchels Avenue B 1
