New TV series for Killarney chef Treyvaud

-

KILLARNEY chef Paul Treyvaud is set to hit the big screen after signing up for a new six-part cooking series the likes of which has never been seen before in terms of content and approach.

The colourful Killarney chef has devised a recipe for success that led to him being snapped up by a leading global TV distribution company.

Paul, who runs Treyvaud’s Restaurant in Killarney with his brother Mark, has also teamed up with Enda Grace of Dundara Productions to produce the highly entertaining and unique new cooking show.

“Working with Enda, who is executive producer and director of the series, was an absolute pleasure. He is a total pro and his attention to detail is second to none,” said Paul.

“This entire series would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the faith and belief that Enda and his team placed in me. That’s what makes this massive deal all the sweeter, knowing that I can repay that faith by being signed up by such a hugely experienced distribution company,” he added.

Paul has also signed with ‘Big Handsome Media’ who are acting as his Irish distribution company and his Trevyaud’s Kitchen series, which he has just finished filming, is already with a number of major broadcasters.

Treyvaud’s Kitchen is a cooking show that forgets about how long it takes to make the dish and the quantities of ingredients you need, but instead focuses on just getting into the kitchen and having a laugh along the way.

“The emphasis is on having fun, perfecting simple cooking techniques, the importance of seasoning and at the end of the day, it’s just cooking,” said Paul.

“If I learned nothing else from the massive audience I had with Irish TV, it’s that people are sick of nonsense on the screens and just want a cooking series that delivers on its promise,” he added.

Paul’s fun and no-nonsense style is a big hit with the company which is an international distributor of factual, unscripted and documentary content, representing more than 140 independent producers from around the world with a combined global audience of hundreds of millions.
